Marijuana Laced Foods, Buyers Beware Of What You Are Buying

Bob L.   Just my Opinion
Jan. 17th 2014

Like it or not you are now the happy buyers of Illegal Drugs, WHAT, so you better hope you don’t work for company that does not allow for drug use, you better hope that you are called in for a random drug test.

Now this is the case where Food Labeling should now be mandatory, eventually they are going to put it in all processed foods and meats you buy in the market, they are already feeding the meats that we eat with steroids that is illegal for human use, but not the meats you eat, just another act that the FDA and the Government not caring about the people, they are just looking for more ways to take your money away from you the people by any means they can.

By Scott Bomboy   January 1, 2014
[BSAAG is involved because approved marijuana cultivators, producers and vendors in Colorado and Washington can’t set up legal bank accounts, because banks believe they could be implicated as money launders, since marijuana sales are still illegal nationally. And pot vendors can’t process retail credit and debit card transactions, for the same reason.]

Now what saying that after they get approved to use the banks that they don’t start using deals on the side to launder money illegally, or start using stolen credit cards, or from identity theft, all they are doing is opening up a can of worms that will come GTY_marijuana_edibles_4_sk_140116_16x9_992back and bite every one in the ass, and you know who the losers will be, and do you think that the ones who allowed this to get started in the first place will admit that they were wrong to let it start, what do they tell you all the time, BUYER BEWARE, you are responsible for what you do, well if they took the time to enforce the laws instead more laws they don’t enforce, they are worried about how much more taxes raise, or what they can do for them selves.

And how many kids are going to get hooked on this, is it not the object to keep kids off the use drugs and not get them started, and don’t say that kids won’t get ahold of them, today you have kids in grade school on drugs they say they can not get, the same goes for Alcohol, how many Minors are caught using Alcohol that the powers to be, say that they are regulated to where the kids can not get ahold of it, Government stands on their heads when they talk, and the shit get pretty deep before they stop talking.

They don’t want kids to start smoking Cigarettes, but it is alright for them to smoke marijuana and eat food laced with it, what’s next, open up to all illegal drugs, ENFORCE THE LAWS, but it is the last thing they want to do, it could hurt their PROFIT if they did.

Why is Legal for One But IS Illegal For Ever one Else

Bob L. Just My Opinion    But why is it, Democrats are Exempt from the laws every one else has to obey?
Jan 13th 2014

Here is a case of where the Republicans break the law and not the Democrats, look around and see how many laws that the Democrats break every month, and what is done about it, the first thing you here is, defy any subpoena, you don’t have to answer any thing, you have Immunity, the Republicans are no better, but it is the Democrats who use those words the most, and call it frivolous (not worthy of serious notice) at least when it involves them.

How many times have you heard it here lately with all these probes into all these investigations that the Democrats are trying to cover up saying it is grandstanding by the Republicans, from Bengasi,or Benghazi, IRS cover up, Obamacare, you can go on and on, and the Democrats are getting away with covering them up and the lies, WHY,  because no one has the guts to stand up to them and do any thing about it, it is happening ever day around the United States with all Governments Agencies, and there are ways to topple this Dictator Government, but there are to many chickens that don’t want to cause waves.

If people don’t start doing some thing about it, this Country will be under control of some other Country like Obama’s Muslim Brotherhood, China or some one else, and if so, kiss the Constitution and your Freedom GOOD BY, or this Country will be in such a Depression that will set this Country back to days of no laws, wide open to vigilante law.

Antismoking crusade has, What Do You Think?

Bob L. Just My Opinion
Jan. 7th 2014

The surgeon general first warned of the dangers of smoking 50 years ago this month. The antismoking campaign that grew from that report has turned people in to hypocrites, BAN all Smoking because it is bad for you and your Children from Second hand smoke, but look at what has happened today, give them a chance to smoke some thing illegal, look how fast they changed their stance on smoking now, second-hand smoke is not hazards to any ones health, they can not wait to light up that cigarette now, hell with that second-hand smoke, where is that smoking ban now?

Marijuana is no different than alcohol, they can not wait to pop the top to get their fix on it, but when it comes down to it, they say that they are not an alcoholic, but how many have been stopped for DUI, or get that can or glass in their hand with that attitude I don’t drink and drive, but when they kill some one, they won’t admit to drinking, SO the moral of the story is, they don’t care about any one else but themselves, whether it be now or later, it all comes out the same, DEATH by unseen Blind Execution.

United States Every Day Looks More Like What Cuba Was Doing

Comment By Bob L.
Nov. 8th 2013

I could not believe what I was reading when I saw this article, I thought it was a story about the direction that the United States is taking.

If you look around, you can see farm land being taken over by Taxes and large Land Investors to build more homes, so that the YUPPY Class can move out of the cities into $7 and 8 or 9 hundred Thousand dollar homes, and any one who get in to their way, they close them down, more farm land has been Closed because these people don’t like the smell that comes from these farms that are still in operation, they eventually get them closed down, what is next, total Import of our food that does not always come in safe to eat, and who’s fault is that, CDC and the FDA, better known as the Federal Government and their meddling and not doing their JOB, they are more worried about ruffling some ones feathers then Food Safety.

Like it says, the country is importing around 60 percent of its food, what is the United States doing when it comes to Importing it’s food, we know that when it comes to contaminated foods, the United States throws all the blame on U.S. Farms until some one gets the true story.

First Sentence:  Cuba rolled out a master plan this week to reform food production and sales that definitively ends the state’s monopoly  on distribution and replaces many rules that hamper  farmers and consumers, does that not sound like what the U.S. is starting to monopolize on here in America telling Businesses, Farmers, and the people what they are going to Grow, prepare, eat, and what Country it will come from.

Look at what it did to the Tomato farmers here in the U.S. a few years back when it was really from Mexico, but look what it did to the coast of buying Tomatoes, and we are still paying for it to-day, how many farm are closed today because of it, and now the Government want to control what you are going to eat, so how many people are going to lose their job because of the Federal Government and the President and his wife meddling into the American people’s lives.

A good example of meddling in people’s lives, is the Affordable Care Act, look how many people are losing their Insurance, and are now uninsured, and a lot of them will not be able to afford, and how many are losing or having their hours of work cut.

There are a lot of things that could have been done with out forcing people into an insurance with out a good plan, for one they could have said I won’t go into full details, but all they had to do was, Existing Conditions for one, but do what the Republicans said, allow Insurance Companies cross state lines, and regulate them which they were not, and not let the states say who can operate there, like Washington State, some Insurance Companies can only operate in certain Counties, not the whole state, but there is a lot that can be done with out Forcing people into some Government Controlled Program.

Peoples and Governments Rights Violated

Comment By Bob L.
Nov.6th 2013

When it comes to the rights to People and Government, they should be able to have a say on how the laws are used.

This is where this Country is so screwed up today, you have to many people making decisions by putting so many regulations in a law when passed, this same thing is happening in the Affordable Care Act, only a hand full of people have a say in how it is going to be, and no one else has a say, it should be all Americans have a say in how it will be implemented.

Like Obamacare Democrats are the only ones who can say what is going to happen, no one else has a say, not even the American people who the law is about to put in the poor house, and now with this Pot Law in Washington and Colorado the rest of the U.S. wants this law passed, but yet these same people voted to ban smoking in public places because of health reasons, so now they think that it is all right to smoke pot thinking that it is healthier then Cigarettes, so now look at the hypocrites who banned smoking think it is ok for pot.

The majority of the people should have a say not a minority, and that is the problem today, a hand full of people can tell you what is good for you without asking, or you don’t know what is good for you like I do, what happen to a vote of the Majority when involves the good of the people, and what they want.

Obama and the Democrats are a good example of a Government take over of the Country, and telling the people that they are now going to tell you what you are going to do and no questions will be asked or answered, and if you don’t follow you will be penalized, if not Imprisoned.

Why don’t the people have a say where this pot can be Grown and Sold? It their neighborhood where the problem will start and become a problem with violence, and look at this law since it was passed, they have more minors using since passage, and that same goes for drinking now that the State went Private, so how should have a say, just because it is a state law, that does not say that Local have to abide by it, it is these local Governments that have to answer to the people when the State or Federal pass unsafe laws, I have a good idea, lets put this pot problem in the neighborhoods of the politicians who let it go on the ballot to be voted on, they want it so let them worry about the problems in their backyard.

State agency seeks advice on local pot bans

By Associated Press

Posted on November 6, 2013

OLYMPIA, Wash.  — Washington state attorneys are exploring whether local governments are allowed to ban businesses who will participate in a legal marijuana market.

The office of Attorney General Bob Ferguson issued a noticed Tuesday seeking input on the question raised by the agency tasked with establishing the system. The Liquor Control Board is asking whether state law prevents local governments from banning a marijuana producer, processor or retailer from locating in the area.

Some local governments such as Pierce County have been exploring whether to ban recreational marijuana businesses.

Voters approved an initiative last year to legalize marijuana. The Liquor Control Board has been developing regulations for a system for businesses to grow, process and sell the product.

Hope And Change, Really?

Comment By Bob L.
July 9th 2013

I can remember back in 2008 when a Senator running for President said he was for hope and change and spreading the wealth around by taking it from the rich and having them pay their fair share and giving it to the poor.

Well it has been Four Years and the poor are spreading the wealth while the rich are reaping the glory of the money, just the reverse of what he said was going to do.

Well if you have not heard this person, listen and see if you can see what he went through as a kid in Cuba, and then the United States when he was growing up until now, I think he tells a pretty sad story of what can happen when you don’t pay attention to what is going on.

If you believe in and love this Country, stand up and fight for it, don’t let it be torn down, Listen to this Gentleman all the way through, and then see if we are  not headed in the same direction as Castro and Hitler.

I believe that we should spend more time finding out who we are going to put in charge of our Country to give true hope and change, not just a bunch of lies just to get elected so they can rewrite the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights, if they are caught in lies, throw them out right away, don’t give them a chance to change any thing, freeze what they can do immediately.

This Country has to stop profiling and using each other against one another just to get what they want, they keep saying that all people are equal, but when it comes to wanting some thing, the first thing that comes up is profiling, we are a free nation why can’t we keep it this way and stop this hatred to others, but when you have a Government that thinks that hate groups are only white people, just look at what the White House said about the Westboro Baptist Church, was not a hate group, well it seems falls under what the LAW calls a hate group.

This has become a Country of hate, I can remember when thing were going in the direction of excepting you for who you are not where you came from or your color, today every thing has started to go back to the time of slavery, but this time it is all people making less than $60,000.00 a year or ones who now don’t even have a chance to find a job, this is getting pretty sad for a Country that fought to be free from Dictating Governments.

State shutdown would close state parks

Comment By Bob L.
June 21st 2013

Contingency planning for state agency operations

I can not believe that the American people are so Stupid, they complain about the intrusion of the Government in to their lives, and then turn right around and let the Governments tell them that they don’t own these State, City, County, and State Parks.

These entities’ don’t own any thing they are owned by the American people and they are only care takers of them for the people who give them Tax money to maintain them, so I do not under stand how they can tell the people how they are going to use them and when, or even charge them to use them just to have a family Picnic for the day.

Now I did not say Camp, I said Picnic for the day, that should Always be free, if you want to camp then that should be chargeable, like they say, Water if an Electric pump is used, and Power are there, they are not free to any one.

But when they say they say they own them, they DO NOT the PEOPLE DO.

If the Government says they need money to Operate, then they need to do some House Cleaning in their Organization of Offices that are not needed, and should have never been started.

Looking at that list if Offices that will close if a budget is not achieved, they are nothing more than a Duplicate or Triplicate that one Office with fewer people could do, I know you have to give your Family and Friends a Lavished job with some one else’s money.

A good example is Liquor Control Board could be cut and be run by the State Patrol, being the state washed their hands of Alcohol and went private, Board of Education can take over all the Colleges with fewer people, you can go on and on and see where they can cut a lot of money in this Bureaucracy of Government Agencies.

These 34 state agencies could be totally cut in and made in to one, not Three Offices for every one office, and this could save money, Contingency planning for state agency operations, who will be shut down and who won’t.

There are probable more that could be phased into one, and use fewer people to do the work, but they think that they are so over worked, every time I have gone to a Government Office, all I see, is people waiting in line to talk to some one, while the people working there, were talking to each other and drinking Coffee, and all but two windows were closed out of Six or More that were unattended, then when someone opened a window one that was open, Closed.

It seems that Government Employees have more Breaks on the Taxpayers Dime, than they have time in working.

State shutdown would close state parks

By Lee Stoll
Thursday, June 20, 2013

LYNNWOOD, Wash. — The list of state-run programs that would be cut or scaled back by a government shutdown is 12 pages long. It would affect everything from state park summer trips to how officers keep tabs on sex offenders.

Marisol Silva’s first trip to Deception Pass State Park may be her only trip here this year.

“It’s terribly sad news,” said Silva.

If the state does not approve a new budget, parks will close just as the tourist season is starting.

Campsite and cabin reservations will be canceled.

“I’m going camping with our church in July over in Leavenworth.  I don’t know if it’s a state park.  I sure hope not,” said visitor Melynda Bly.

The list released Thursday says several offices will close down, including the Lottery, Liquor Control Board, Services for the Blind and the Arts Commission.

GPS tracking information for sex offenders will be suspended.

“I’m just astonished,” said Heidi Bride., who lost her job two weeks ago and is using WorkSource to get back on her feet.  The state will close those offices, too.  A skeletal staff will process unemployment benefits but Bride will have to find a job on her own.

“I depend on this.  I’ll be out on the streets without WorkSource,” said Bride.

College students and their families face uncertainty too.  They won’t know what financial aid will be available as they plan for the 2014 school year.

Law Makers Continually Blead the State for Their Own Gain

Comment Bob L.
06-03-2013

It seems that this state does not know how to spend money wisely, it seems every year that they go through this same thing, this shows the people of Washington State that the government does not care what they do, it is about time that the people of Washington State put a stop to these Special Sessions. If they can not do the job that they were Elected to do in the time set, then get people who can.

This is not the only job they have, so why are they doing this, is it because the other Washington does it and they think that they are entitled to do so.

These greedy people should get paid TEN Dollars and A Forty Hours a week and nothing else, and they pay for their own medical and retirement out of their pay just like the private sector, and lets see how the like it,  and then maybe they would get the message that they are not privileged and give them selves any thing they want, unless the same also goes to the private sector the same that they get.

Lawmakers start final stretch of special session

By RACHEL LA CORTE Associated Press
Monday, June 3, 2013

OLYMPIA, Wash. —

With just over a week left in an overtime legislative session, negotiations on the state budget continue, but without a deal in sight and limited activity at the Capitol, one lawmaker on Monday said the possibility of a second overtime session was more and more likely.

Senate Minority Leader Ed Murray, D-Seattle, said that the next 24 hours are crucial.

“If there isn’t some break, it’s inevitable we’re heading toward another special session and I believe that will drive us over a fiscal cliff,” he said.

Senate Republican Leader Mark Schoesler said he was going to “focus on the positive.”

“We’re still talking,” he said. “We’re still working.”

Lawmakers are in the midst of a 30-day special session that began on May 13 and is set to end June 11. They face a $1.2 billion budget shortfall for the two-year cycle that ends in the middle of 2015. That doesn’t count an additional approximate $1 billion that lawmakers are seeking in response to a court-ordered requirement that the state spend more on its basic education system.

Budget negotiations have been taking place for weeks between the Democratic-controlled House and the Senate, which is controlled by a coalition of 23 Republicans and two Democrats.

The original House and Senate budgets were about $1 billion apart, with House Democrats seeking new revenue by extending taxes and eliminating tax breaks, and the Senate majority looking to balance the budget without new taxes, relying on cuts to social programs and fund transfers.

House Majority Leader Pat Sullivan, D-Covington, said that while logistically it is possible to get an agreement and budget passed by next week, he’s still worried about what happens if lawmakers haven’t agreed on a spending plan before the start of the fiscal year on July 1.

“I’m very concerned it will have a dramatic impact on our ability to provide services,” he said.

Gov. Jay Inslee issued a statement late Friday saying that he’s become “increasingly concerned about the pace of budget negotiations.”

“All sides need to realize that it is time for significant compromise,” he said in the prepared statement.

The only public activity on Monday was a floor session in the Senate for senators to share their remembrances of Sen. Mike Carrell, who died at age 69 last week from complications related to treatment for a blood condition.

With his death, the Senate is currently in a tie, with 24 Democrats and 24 members of the Majority Coalition Caucus. The Pierce County Council could choose a replacement for Carrell as early as Tuesday.

Another deadline lawmakers face is dueling bills in the Senate and House on how to address a Supreme Court ruling that found some married couples could avoid the estate tax if they used a certain trust. The House last week passed a bill requiring the tax to be paid on the value of the estate above $2 million, regardless of marital status.

The Department of Revenue says it has already received 70 refund requests totaling between $40 million and $50 million from estates that had paid the taxes prior to the court ruling. Spokesman Mike Gowrylow said the department started processing checks Monday, and that the first checks could be sent out next week unless a legislative fix occurs before then. The state has said that without a fix, it could cost the state $160 million over the next two years, including refunds, cancelled assessments and future lost revenue.

A bill put forth by Senate Republicans would address the refund issue, as the House bill does, but lower tax rates and phase in raising the value of estates to be taxed from $2 million to the federal level of $5 million.

Inslee blasted that version Friday, saying it “would take us in the wrong direction.”

It Is Time To Be Self Supporting Or Close The Doors!

Comment By Bob L.
05-02-2013

Here is a good example of Government greed, keep paying them the same amount of money for the  service to your City, but we are going to cut your service in half.

How about cutting the amount of money to 50%, equal to the amount of service they want to cut.  Why should you pay for something you are not getting, and make the Taxpayer pay for it.

That money saved could be better used for road and side-walk maintenance, or how about police to enforce traffic laws like speeders, instead of speed bumps that don’t work but slow Emergency response.

What would they say if I as a rider said I was only going to pay you half fare, because I only ride once a month, how fast do you think they would tell you to get off.

And to think, they want more money to widen I5 from Olympia to Lakewood to put more traffic into Pierce and King County to at the cost of more Air Pollution to THESE Counties that have to pay E Check to get their License Tabs or Plates. They tell Pierce and King County Residents NO TICKEE NO WASHEE, same goes for subsidizing a second Transit System that is operated by Pierce Transit, is this a double Tax.

Puyallup considers public transportation alternatives

ANDREW FICKES; of the Herald
Published: 05/01/13

When Pierce Transit distributed 622,000 service hours within the Public Transportation Benefit Area in 2010, the city was paying about $9.6 million from the six-tenths of 1 percent sales tax and was receiving about $5.6 million in actual value, according to data collected by Puyallup City Council member Steve Vermillion, who sits on the Pierce Transit Board of Directors.

In September, the benefit area will be reduced to 300,000 service hours, about a 51 percent reduction, and city Finance Director Cliff Craig estimates Puyallup is paying between $8 million and $9 million on a continual basis to Pierce Transit.

“We’re probably subsidizing the entire system to the tune of about $4 million,” Vermillion said. “If we can do it better for cheaper, it’s possible we can lower that sales tax down to some number that sustains the transportation.”

Vermillion said one option on the table might be to contract with a private vendor or with Pierce Transit for tailored services.

“We would be paying for our own system, and we wouldn’t be paying for the large overhead of Pierce Transit,” Vermillion said.

The city council discussed alternative transit options at its meeting April 23. City Attorney Kevin Yamamoto explained the process for leaving the Public Transportation Benefit Area, if that were to be an option.

“There is a wide range of options on how you provide those services,” Yamamoto said.

They could include contracting with a private vendor, or establishing either a Metropolitan Municipal Corporation or Public Transportation Systems in Municipalities. By state law, only one public transportation benefit area may be created in any county.

City council members wanted to first define the level of service needed by the population and then continue discussions with Pierce Transit to tailor a program that would fit the city’s needs.

City Manager Bill McDonald suggested bringing in a private vendor to show options to the city council, and Mayor Rick Hansen encouraged the idea.

“Our service is cut, but we’re paying the same,” Hansen said. “What needs to happen is we need to evaluate the best services for our city, and then ask Pierce Transit what it costs for that service. We need to look at all avenues, including what it would cost with Pierce Transit or a private carrier, or partnering with another city like Sumner. We should never exclude anybody.”

For Get About U.S. Education, Continually Pay Teachers to Do Nothing

Comment By Bob L.
04-11-2013

We can not sit back and let people who can not even come up with a budget or Balance Americas Check Book tell our Schools what to do, it is time that we Americans, take back our Schools and get the Federal Government, the States,  Special Interest and the Unions out of our Schools.

Schools should be spending more time on Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic, every one of these head you in the right direction, we should not be teaching any thing else until you get in to the Eight Grade, then you start them on a trade.

This is why our kids are failing in this Country, because they are more interested to bring in Foreigners to do the jobs that Americans should be doing.

This Country has turned their backs on Education for Americans to Educate people from around the world, until they close the door there will not be a good Education program in this country.

Just look at how they want to give people from outside this country cheaper education while our kids pay more to go to college and school.

Why not lower the rates to our students instead of charging more so that they can bring people from outside this Country to get a better education then what our kids are getting, is this why our kids are failing, is this why our Teachers and Government are holding back out kids so this country can be left behind.

There is definitely some thing rotten going on in this Country when   Companies, the Rich, and the Government should be spensding more time with this Country, but they want to hand out Work Visas, and turn their backs on American Worker and their Education.

Zuckerberg launches immigration reform advocacy group

By Liz Goodwin, Yahoo! News – The Ticket
04-11-2013

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is joining with top Silicon Valley CEOs to launch a political advocacy group called FWD.us that, among other things, will urge lawmakers to pass immigration reform.

Politico reports that Linkedin co-founder Reid Hoffman and Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer are among the group’s major contributors. Former staffers in the Bill Clinton and George W. Bush administrations have joined the group as well.

Before launching FWD.us, Zuckerberg had dipped a toe into politics when he donated $100 million to the struggling school system in Newark, N.J. He also held a fundraiser for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a Republican, in February.

High-profile techies have argued that the current legal immigration system does not allow them to attract and retain high-skilled immigrants from around the world. In March, executives from Facebook, Google, eBay and dozens more tech companies sent a letter to President Barack Obama urging him to add more visas for high-tech workers.
