Education secretary urged his employees to attend Sharpton’s rally

By Bob L.
Wed./Sept./1/2010

I see this as a disgrace to Martin Luther King Jr and all (blacks) who are Americans just like any U.S. Citizens, they are no different then any one else, so they have Black skin, like one gentleman that I worked with put it this way, he has a year round tan and does not to go out and lay in the sun or tanning bed to get a tan, and Kings speech was for ALL Americans, no matter what NATIONALITY.

I listen to Beck, and and I thought he carried Martin Luther King Jr’s I have a dream to all Americans as if he was here today helping him write it, if you don’t believe it then you don’t want to see all Americans of all NATIONALITIES walk ARM IN ARM TO DEFEND OUR FREEDOM.

President Obama’s top education official urged government employees to attend a rally that the Rev. Al Sharpton organized to counter a larger conservative event on the Mall.

“ED staff are invited to join Secretary Arne Duncan, the Reverend Al Sharpton, and other leaders on Saturday, Aug. 28, for the ‘Reclaim the Dream’ rally and march,” began an internal e-mail sent to more than 4,000 employees of the Department of Education on Wednesday. Continue reading

Your request is being processed… Al Sharpton: Glenn Beck Rally Distorts King’s Dream

By Bob L.
Mon./Aug./30/2010
Here we go again, a racist group turning things around again trying to make it sound racist, and that Martin Luther King Jr, and blacks are the only ones that can talk and demonstrate at the Washington Monument, this is why we have the First Amendment.

(“They have a right to rally. But what they don’t have the right do is distort what Dr. King’s dream was about,” the Rev. Al Sharpton declared Friday.)

Look at who is DISTORTING KINGS DREAM, My opinion is every one who keeps throwing out the race card is a disgrace to KING and his  Speech, and this shows that they don’t care what he said, and they are doing any thing they can to keep RACISM active. If they really wanted to stop RACISM, they would they would try and help solve the problem, NOT stir up the problems like they do at the drop of the hat.

(Sharpton described the demonstration planned for Saturday by Beck and his supporters as an anti-government rally advocating states’ rights. And he said that goes against the message in King’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech, in which the civil rights leader appealed to the federal government to ensure equality.)

I don’t think King meant that the Federal Government should have full control of this Country, I take it as he was saying that HE wanted to see all Americans walking Hand in Hand, side by side, and not fighting each other, but I do believe the States should have more control over what they do and say in each State, not the Federal Government.

Today the Federal Government thinks that the States don’t have a say in how they run their state, THIS is called A DICTATOR GOVERNMENT.

WASHINGTON — On the eve of conservative commentator Glenn Beck’s rally at the Lincoln Memorial, a blogger’s assertion that parts of the nation’s capital should be avoided touched off accusations of racism and a sharp response by angry city leaders.

Thousands of tea party supporters were expected at the demonstration Saturday that Beck has called a “Restoring Honor” rally to show support of the country’s military at the site where Martin Luther King delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech 47 years ago to the day.

The location and timing prompted civil rights leaders to cry foul. Continue reading

Surrender at the Border

By Oliver North
07/13/2010

Georgetown, SC – My FOX News baseball hat and sunglasses no longer work as a disguise here in the Carolina low country. As I stepped out of the Kudzu Bakery this morning, a fellow early morning shopper accosted me with an accusation and an inquisition: “You’re from Washington. What the devil are those people up there thinking?” Continue reading

How DoJ Let Black Panther Party Get Away With Voter Intimidation

Deroy MurdockBy Deroy Murdock
07/12/2010

Voters at a precinct on Philadelphia’s Fairmont Street witnessed unusual sights and sounds on Election Day, Nov. 4, 2008. Two members of the New Black Panther Party, King Samir Shabazz and Jerry Jackson, stood within 15 feet of this polling station dressed in military-style black jackets, black berets and black combat boots. Shabazz wielded a two-foot-long night stick. Continue reading

DOJ Stonewalling Black Panthers Case

By  Rep. Frank Wolf
07/06/2010

For more than a year, I have been urging the U.S. Department of Justice to release all the documents surrounding the dismissal of U.S. v. New Black Panther Party and to make a genuine attempt to answer the questions asked by members of Congress and the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights about the case. My requests have been rebuffed at each turn by the department.

As a strong supporter of the Voting Rights Act, I was deeply troubled by Justice’s Continue reading

Obama: Nation not Defined by Our Borders

DO YOU AGREE, IF SO LETS ENFORCE IT: [ “In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith, becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American… There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag… We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language … and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”—Theodore Roosevelt, 1907]

Calderon fires up immigration row at start of US visit

By Bob L.

I think it is time that the American people tell these people coming to this Country, if you don’t like our laws or our flag don’t come here and tell us how to run our Country, when you can’t even run your OWN. Continue reading

Is the health care fury really about race?

By Bob L.   I was wondering when race was coming.
March 30,2010

Is the health care about race?
Yes it is about race, a race Obama, and the Democrats are in to cram this Government, yes GOVERNMENT health care down every ones throat no matter who you are, and TAX oh I mean FINE every one so they can cover, abortion, and Illegals
.

But if you really want the truth it is about controlling the American people, if you don’t think so look at the food they are pushing, or what you can eat, and what you are going to cook your food in, if that is not taking control, then what do call it.

Liberal columnist Frank Rich argues that the Tea Party’s anger stems from “losing their country” to minorities — and has little to do with health care reform. Is he right?

THE WEEK Publications,

March 29, 2010

The furious conservative backlash against health care reform has little to do with health care, says New York Times columnist Frank Rich. The “unglued firestorm of homicidal rhetoric” — and worse — is a reaction by the “virtually all white” Tea Party to an ever-less-white America. The grassroots activists would have been angry at any major law our “black president and a female speaker of the House” enacted, Rich argues. Is he right — or is he misplaying the race card? When Conservative Felonies Become Liberal Misdemeanors

By Victor Davis Hanson
January 14, 2010

Why in matters of stupid behavior do liberals and Democrats often get second and third chances from the media and general public not accorded to their conservative and Republican counterparts?

We’re seeing it now in the national reaction to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s reported racial gaffe. Compare how he’s being treated to what happened to Trent Lott in 2002.

Public and media pressure forced Lott to resign his Senate minority leadership post after going way over the top at a private birthday party for Strom Thurmond. In his tribute to Thurmond, Lott heaped praise on the centenarian senator’s 1948 Dixiecrat presidential candidacy — despite the fact it was predicated mostly on promoting racial segregation. Waitrose pull ads from Fox News: report

American-Eagle-and-Flag--C10055018 By Bob L : NEWS AS I SEE IT!

With all these companies pulling adds from Glen Beck sounds like they are trying to stop the first amendment because they don’t want any one out there telling the truth, why do you think Obama did not go on fox, but went on all the other stations, because they will do what they are told. And if you have not noticed they have been praising him like god from day one.
