FEMA puts long-term rebuilding on hold after Irene

By Bob L. GETTING TIRED OF GOVERNMENT CORRUPTION & WASTE

FEMA puts long-term rebuilding in Joplin, other disaster areas on hold to respond to Irene.

Don’t you just WORRY your little head, They Will Just Take It Out Of SOCIAL SECURITY, MEDICARE and MEDICAID, but you KNOW they will not TAKE it out of the YUPPIE programs. (this is called robbing peter to pay paul: this is for all of you that went to college).

Bye Bye Missouri it has been nice working with you, just think of New Orléans, they were abandoned before, during, and after the Disaster.

Tropical Storm Irene slams shrinking disaster aid fund (oregonlive.com)

This article shows just how Perpetual Motion work when no one is working to pay for the problems that arrive, this is a good example and shows that Government can not fill its coffers. You can say Government Employees are paying taxes, but they are not paying taxes, their pay comes from Companies and people who work to sell a product, and this Government does not do, it only works off of taxes, Government pays Government wages, wages pay taxes, taxes pay Government, nothing has been sold, no product,THIS is called Perpetual Motion, and eventually can no longer run, you have to have people that don’t get a pay check from Government, and this what is happening today here in the UNITED STATES. A Disastrous Great Great Depression is coming, and Government has a choice, get their heads out of their ass or close the doors, it is to that point now.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — The federal government has frozen some aid to tornado- and flood-ravaged Missouri and the South to focus on immediate help for victims of Hurricane Irene, disappointing residents and officials who said Monday they still need help.

Federal Emergency Management Agency spokesman Bob Josephson said FEMA’s Disaster Relief Fund is running low — down to between $800 million and $1 billion. When that happens, the agency focuses on immediate response, rather than long-term rebuilding. It also needs to ensure there’s enough money to respond to any other disasters that might occur this year, he said. Continue reading

Older Generation, The Newer Generation

By Bob L. GETTING TIRED OF GOVERNMENT CORRUPTION & WASTE
Sat. 08 27 11

I talked this week with people here in Washington State and could not believe what I heard, it seems that this newer Generation believes that Privatizing of public State Parks and Land is a good idea, I don’t think that they really under stand what could happen years to come, because they say that the state does not put any money in to it so they need to do some thing to keep them from closing them. Well I have to agree on that they don’t take care of them, but they don’t take care of any thing they have, just look around and you will see that in a lot of thing they have control of, I look at it this way, where is the money going that people pay in taxes, and why do they keep buying more land if they are not going to support it. The Eve Of Our Destruction

By Bob L.                       Start Saying NO to every thing and MEAN IT!!!!!
8/22/11

If the truth hurts tough, I am not a fan of Yuppy wants
that take away from people who need!!!

Have you ever noticed how things happen, and they say it is for a reason, then there are people make things happen for a reason, and that reason is ME, MYSELF, and I (more money or profit), better known as the HELL with any one else, and you really see this when you drive around this country, they are building Accident Circles, tearing up roads and take property to put Gardens and trees in the center where to get to a business, you have to go to the next intersection and make a U-turn and go back to the business you want to go to, and by doing this it wears out your tires faster and uses more fuel, then if you can’t make the turn in one pass you have to watch out for cars behind you turning or wanting to also make a U-turn, and they don’t maintain them, then if they do maintain them they hire more Government workers, which takes more money that they don’t have, instead of turning it over to a private contractor to produce a tax base to pay for what YUPPIES just got to have, then you have to consider the gas burned when they block off lanes to take care of them these center and shoulder gardens.

Government IOU’s: will they ever pay it back?

By Bob L.       When are they going to be honest with the American People?
8/21/11

No Way Will I Pay It Back

I remember a few months back that the Social Security Administration told the Government to start paying back their IOU’s, Now has the Government paid their bill like Obama says, or was he just blowing smoke that he pays his bills on time, why has no one checked to see if they are paying their IOU’s, or are they still spending Social Security on things other than Social Security.

Social Security disability on verge of insolvency

 By STEPHEN OHLEMACHER, AP
Sun. 8-21-11
WASHINGTON — Laid-off workers and aging baby boomers are flooding Social Security’s disability program with benefit claims, pushing the financially strapped system toward the brink of insolvency.

Applications are up nearly 50 percent over a decade ago as people with disabilities lose their jobs and can’t find new ones in an economy that has shed nearly 7 million jobs.

The stampede for benefits is adding to a growing backlog of applicants — many wait two years or more before their cases are resolved — and worsening Continue reading

Obama in July: I Can’t Change Immigration Laws On My Own

Obama in July: I Can’t Change Immigration Laws On My Own      “But he just did.”
By Jim Hoft
08/19/2011

Less than one month ago, Barack Obaama told radical La Raza activists that he would like to change immigration laws but that he did not have that power.

“I know some people want me to bypass Congress and change the laws on my own… The idea of doing things on my own is very tempting. But that’s not how — that’s not how our system works.”

Obama addressed La Raza back on July 25,2011.

The Sun-Times has the transcript:

THE PRESIDENT: Now, I swore an oath to uphold the laws on the books, but that doesn’t mean I don’t know very well the real pain and heartbreak that deportations cause. I share your concerns and I understand them. Continue reading

Special interests gave millions to budget panel

By JACK GILLUM, Associated Press
THURSDAY  Aug 11, 2011

The 12 lawmakers appointed to a new congressional supercommittee charged with tackling the nation’s fiscal problems have received millions in contributions from special interests with a direct stake in potential cuts to federal programs, an Associated Press analysis of federal campaign data has found.

The newly appointed members — six Democrats and six Republicans — have received more than $3 million total during the past five years in donations from political committees with ties to defense contractors, health care providers and labor unions. That money went to their re-election campaigns, according to AP’s review.

Supporters say the lawmakers were picked for their integrity and experience with complicated budget matters. But their appointments already have prompted early concerns from campaign-finance Continue reading

Out Dated But Still True Today, If Not Worst!

By Bob L.
8/9/2011

(Time 1973) These are pages from the past because people to what has happen in this country and why we are where we are today.

Over the years I have heard people whining about how we don’t do enough for the Foreign Countries, they say that we need to send more aid to the starving Countries when they have a disaster, but how many Foreign Countries have sent Aid to this Country when we have a disaster, and how many Countries have paid the U.S. back for money that they have borrowed from Us.Here is some thing that the American people should live by and stop whining about other Countries when they are in trouble, and remember this, “DO ON TO OTHER THAT THEY ARE DOING TO YOU”!!!!! Look around you, these videos can not put it any better, we are the bank for the world, not America, why do you think we are broke.

The Americans     http://youtu.be/hGJynE37Npg

[“The Americans” On June 5 1973, Canadian radio commentator Gordon Sinclair delivered a stirring, pro-American editorial. The United States had just pulled out of the Vietnam War which ended in a stalemate – a war fought daily on TV, over radio and in the press. The war had divided the American people, and at home and abroad it seemed everyone was lambasting the United States. Outraged by what he saw and heard that morning, in his noon-hour broadcast, Sinclair rose to the defense of the American people – and his voice was heard around the world.]

America First”   http://youtu.be/NDoYsBAyFb0

Where Did America Go    http://youtu.be/DgFlX3qUkU4

[Merle Haggard songs about the current conditions of the USA. Older citizens will understand this song, i believe, because of the radical changes in our society over the last 25 to 50 years, and certainly since the fall of 2008. For the younger generation, listen to the older generation, read about your history, the USA you know and live in today is not the country it once was.]

“A Workin’ Man Can’t Get Nowhere Today”   http://youtu.be/MFVu_3pyino

[While not a big hit for Merle during his prime (#16 in 1977), this song is just as relevant then as it is now.]

You don’t think that a Depression is not Possible

Over $9.5 Billion Available in Government Grants!

By Bob L.
8/5/11

I have said all along that we are on the brink of another DEPRESSION if the American don’t stop their wanting which is causing this Country to be going broke.

The people here in America today think money grows on trees and that it is endless, well you are now getting to live the life of the not so fortunate, the people who live on Minimum wage and now you can see the problem in this Country, to many YUPPIES wanting every thing NOW and not caring about the cost and where it is coming from, now you are getting just what you asked for.

Check back and read the posts that I have posted, you can talk about Government spending, but how about Americans spending, they have done no better, look around this Country and you can see where all the money has gone, Fancy Homes, Boats, Cars, Motorcycles, Water toys, and now the Americans are broke, now lets look at Government, Fancy streets with trees down the center and curbing that looks like a ghost town, and nothing repaired, Death circles at intersections that slow down Emergency Vehicles and Trucks that can barely get around them to make delivers, bigger and bigger highway for what YUPPIES farther away from where the work, there is a lot that can be said, but all in all this all takes money that this Country does not have, for one reason, people are not working to pay taxes, and a lot of money goes out of this country as foreign aid when we can’t even take care of our own.
