Your request is being processed… Al Sharpton: Glenn Beck Rally Distorts King’s Dream

By Bob L.
Here we go again, a racist group turning things around again trying to make it sound racist, and that Martin Luther King Jr, and blacks are the only ones that can talk and demonstrate at the Washington Monument, this is why we have the First Amendment.

(“They have a right to rally. But what they don’t have the right do is distort what Dr. King’s dream was about,” the Rev. Al Sharpton declared Friday.)

Look at who is DISTORTING KINGS DREAM, My opinion is every one who keeps throwing out the race card is a disgrace to KING and his  Speech, and this shows that they don’t care what he said, and they are doing any thing they can to keep RACISM active. If they really wanted to stop RACISM, they would they would try and help solve the problem, NOT stir up the problems like they do at the drop of the hat.

(Sharpton described the demonstration planned for Saturday by Beck and his supporters as an anti-government rally advocating states’ rights. And he said that goes against the message in King’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech, in which the civil rights leader appealed to the federal government to ensure equality.)

I don’t think King meant that the Federal Government should have full control of this Country, I take it as he was saying that HE wanted to see all Americans walking Hand in Hand, side by side, and not fighting each other, but I do believe the States should have more control over what they do and say in each State, not the Federal Government.

Today the Federal Government thinks that the States don’t have a say in how they run their state, THIS is called A DICTATOR GOVERNMENT.

WASHINGTON — On the eve of conservative commentator Glenn Beck’s rally at the Lincoln Memorial, a blogger’s assertion that parts of the nation’s capital should be avoided touched off accusations of racism and a sharp response by angry city leaders.

Thousands of tea party supporters were expected at the demonstration Saturday that Beck has called a “Restoring Honor” rally to show support of the country’s military at the site where Martin Luther King delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech 47 years ago to the day.

The location and timing prompted civil rights leaders to cry foul. Continue reading

Recession may have pushed US birth rate to new low

By Bob L.

In this VIDEO see what will happen if the birth rate continues to fall, now and the future.

Sat Aug 28

Forget the Dow and the GDP. Here’s the latest economic indicator: The U.S. birth rate has fallen to its lowest level in at least a century as many people apparently decided they couldn’t afford more mouths to feed.

The birth rate dropped for the second year in a row since the recession began in 2007. Births fell 2.6 percent last year even as the population grew, numbers released Friday by the National Center for Health Statistics show.

“It’s a good-sized decline for one year. Every month is showing a decline from the year before,” said Stephanie Ventura, the demographer who oversaw the report.

The birth rate, which takes into account changes in the population, fell to 13.5 births for every 1,000 people last year. That’s down from 14.3 in 2007 and way down from 30 in 1909, when it was common for people to have big families. Continue reading

Recovery Act: How Obama’s Stimulus Is Changing America

By Bob L.

In this article (See TIME’s special report “The Green Design 100.”) there is a lot of people that will profit if CAP & TAX is approved.

Thur./Aug./26/ 2010

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 – President Obama’s $787 billion stimulus – has been marketed as a jobs bill, and that’s how it’s been judged. The White House says it has saved or created about 3 million jobs, helping avoid a depression and end a recession. Republicans mock it as a Big Government boondoggle that has failed to prevent rampant unemployment despite a massive expansion of the deficit. Liberals complain that it wasn’t massive enough. When I go to bed at night that is when I do stupid thinking, you see I did not go to College, boy is that not stupid or what, or is that Smart, well I got to thinking all bout this global warming thing and just can not come up with how it works.

Now to tax it that means that the GOVERNMENT owns it, this also gos for the Electricity that we use, now who owns that, the Government or the people who pay the utility company for the service, not the Government.

Lets see how can the Government charge Continue reading

Border Security Bill Won’t Be Enough

Gary BauerBy Gary Bauer

Among the many polarizing aspects of the ever-raging immigration debate, there is one that should unite all Americans. The violent drug cartels that dominate most of Northern Mexico constitute one of America’s greatest security threats.

A bill passed by Congress Thursday will send more troops to the border. That’s good news, but it’s only a start. President Obama and his congressional allies are wrong Continue reading

Amnesty Means Massive Medicaid Costs

By James R. Edwards, Jr.

If Congress pushes through amnesty, hold onto your wallets. Taxpayers will get robbed and illegal aliens rewarded.

The 11 million illegal aliens who get legalized will then qualify for many taxpayer-funded government programs, including health premium subsidies, the Earned Income Tax Credit and Medicaid. This redistribution of wealth will add billions to the government’s Continue reading

High-Profile CEO Exit Packages

By Bob L.

This just the tip of the iceberg of why this country has no jobs for the private Citizens, this is just to leave a company, HOW about their monthly pay, or to make it easy, by the year, by any chance do you think that we would have jobs in this country if the wages of Corporate exes. were TWO THIRDS less then what they are today.

Just think if they gave up all this pork they get, companies would not be on the bankruptcy list, and there would be plenty of jobs to go around for every one, but no they have to try to out others, ( better known as staying ahead of the JONES ).

Then if we ban Discrimination, and ban Discrimination claims for all Nationalities ( do your job and you will have a job, you whine and cry or think that they owed you that job, you are gone, NO RECOURSE, if you do your job then you have a job for life ) but you have to be qualified, some companies will train you on the job if you are willing to learn that job, but they will not JUST give it to you.

Companies won’t hire you, if they know that they are going to spend a lot of time in court for firing some one.

Immigration chief: ‘We’re going to get this right’

By AMANDA LEE MYERS, Associated Press Writer
Thu Aug 12 2010

PHOENIX – The federal government has deported more illegal immigrants from the U.S. than ever before, the director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Thursday as part of an effort to push back on the suggestion Washington isn’t doing enough.

“For those who doubt the federal government’s resolve in the enforcement of immigration law, let me say this: We are committed to strong, effective immigration enforcement, and the facts speak for themselves,” ICE Director John Morton said.

He said his agency removed a record 380,000 illegal Continue reading

Obama threw Snooki under the bus

By: David Freddoso
Online Opinion Editor

In our system, we don’t leave it up to states like Arizona to catch and then carelessly release illegal immigrants who came from terrorism-sponsor nations. That’s the feds’ job.

This is not the first time Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., has helped out the bank in which her husband is a major investor.

Home equity loans: “The more money you borrowed, the less likely you will have to pay up.”

Obama lied, threw Snooki under the bus.

As if Joe Biden’s motorcade hasn’t caused enough accidents already — now his plane is getting into the act.

Having flipped off all New Yorkers figuratively for years while serving as mayor, David Dinkins gives one of them the finger at Charlie Rangel’s birthday party.

In my hometown, Rep. Joe Donnelly, D-Ind., keeps telling himself (and voters) that the Stupak executive order does something it does not.
