Proud to be an American

Are you PROUD to be an American, or are you one of those who want LAWS to be written just for you, well if you read the US CONSTITUTION you will see that there are laws that are written for you and every one else, well it seams that there are people to day that think that this true, that there should be laws just for them that every one else has to honor.

I was hurt and upset to see that some one could reply and say that an article I posted I was exaggerating when I state that a “foreigner” has that right to say that an American Flag offends them when you fly it at work. (People you better get used to it, it is closer then you think.)

(So when McLucas arrived at work at a Texas hospital last Friday, she was stunned to be told that the Stars and Stripes she had hung in her office in advance of Memorial Day were offensive, and that the flag had been removed.

“I got into work, I was met by my supervisor and told that there had been multiple complaints, that people found the flag very offensive and it had been taken down,”.

“I went to the office to retrieve it and found the flag wrapped around the pole, sitting in the corner on the ground. I was speechless.”

McLucas, a supervisor at Kindred Hospital in Mansfield, Texas, had displayed the 3-by-5-foot flag in the office she shares with the hospital’s three other supervisors. McLucas said one of her colleagues, a woman who immigrated to the United States from Africa 14 years ago, complained about the flag to upper management, and the hospital decided to take down the flag.

“I was told that as long as my flag offended one person, it would be taken down,” McLucas said.)

To me why did she come here and if she does not like it here then go back where she came from and that go s for any one who is ashamed to call them selves an AMERICAN, NOT Foreign country Plus AMERICA, that is why this Country is coming apart, they won’t stand up for America any more, because they have let it run in the ground, and not stood up to the Politicians and the rich.

This is what you call a coward, (they did not even have the courage to ask her if she would take it down ) when it comes time to protect this country they run with their tail between their lags to another Country, while the ones who stay and fight and lose their life defending and disabling injuries, a war that the politicians and the rich started, get crucified for being an AMERICAN, most of them do it as a duty as an American, and proud to call them selves an AMERICAN and honored not scorned.

(The correct analysis is: (1) An immigrant (i.e., not a foreigner, but rather a former foreigner) made a complaint. Everyone has a right to complain. (2) The employer, not the immigrant, made her take down the flag. Employers do have the right to set the look of the workplace.

Immigrants who came to this Country lost their lives defending THAT FLAG, THAT FLAG meant freedom from socialism and unfair taxation, so those Immigrants were proud to call them selves AMERICANS.

The US Constitution was written to protect all who come to or visit this Country, if you don’t know the Constitution sit down and read the original copy not the one that some have been chipping away at to work in their favor.

Today Immigrants are foreigners, they only come here to work, not fight for the AMERICAN FLAG and FREEDOM like their fore fathers did, and like the Indians did to protect their land, and the same thing that the Indians were fighting for some Americans are trying doing to day, but on the other hand there are some that want to see it go under foreign rule, or be like Hitler and rule every thing, OH GEE you know that looks like what they are doing now, owners of banks, car manufactures, what else could be in the works, oh ya telling people what they are going to buy and what they are not going to buy, and farmers what they will grow and what they are not going to grow, that is crops, cattle, pigs, or chickens, or any thing that causes polution.
